American Style Buttermilk Pancakes

Good old American style fluffy buttermilk pancakes are the best sunday morning indulgence! We usually have pancakes on sunday morning but the normal English crepe style thin ones.

However, with my amazing mom having a sleepover, I thought I would treat her with the famous fluffy american pancakes! With a little help from my friend Google I found a pretty awesome recipe ( which I can’t not find the link for!)

ingredients:
250ml yogurt
75ml milk
250g Plain Flour
1 tsp Baking soda
1 tsp salt
2 tsbp sugar
1 egg
50g melted butter

Throw is all into a vitamix or mixer, if the batter is still a little thick add a little more milk.

Ladle some batter on a medium heat fry pan, allow to cook for maybe 30 seconds to 1 minute ( until the bottom has gone golden brown), then flip and cook the other side.

You can add chocolate chips, blueberries or anything else into the batter or sprinkle onto the batter once in the fry pan to add a little flavour!

Pour on some maple syrup and voila!!
