I’ve finally found the perfect Condensed Milk alternative using absolutely no dairy products and without spending an age on the stove trying to find the non diary milk that won’t curdle over heat or actually makes a good creamy vegan condensed milk.
This vegan condensed milk is just awesomely thick, gooey and deliciously sweet. The recipe only takes minutes to make and is a total replacement for regular condensed milk such as caramel, burfi, fudge and even ice cream.
Coconut milk powder is pretty easy to find, you may need to go to a more specialist store like an Indian or African supermarket but you’ll be pleased to know it’s also available on Amazon (Prime too).
This is a pretty incredible recipe right? 2 minutes and it’s ready, and you can use it in all kinds of recipes and great to find such an easy simple alternative.
150g Coconut Milk Powder
100g Caster Sugar
2 Tbsp Coconut Oil
Add water, coconut milk powder, coconut oil, honey and sugar to a blender, then blitz on high speed for about 1 minute.
Pour the thick mixture into an airtight container and refrigerate for at least 2 hours and then it’s ready to use.
