Easy, quick and delicious cheesy garlic herb scones! These are amazing when warm and buttered!
225g Self Raising Flour
2 Tbsp Milk
50g Cheddar Cheese
3 Crushed Garlic Gloves
1 Tsp Mixed Italian Herbs
1 Tsp Dried chopped onions
Milk for glazing
In a food processor add cold butter and flour
Blitz in until bread crumb like texture
Add the mixture to a bowl and make a small well in the middle.
Beat an egg with milk and then pour into the butter flour mixture.
Briefly mix until the start of a dough forms.
Add cheese, crushed garlic and herbs into the dough, start to mix into the dough.
Tip the dough on to a floured surface and continue to knead until a dough forms, do not over knead.
Roll out and then using a cutter, cut out scones
Place the scone dough onto a greased baking tray
Brush the scone dough with a little milk
Bake in the oven at 220c for 15 minutes until golden brown.
