Bran Granola bars are great low gi snack with lasting energy. I made these to take on our little India trip for the flight and travel.
My daughter ended up eating on most of this before we even got half way through our journey, as they are slightly sweet, fruity and crunchy.
These bars are high in fiber due to the bran and dried fruits giving extra goodness and with no added sugar.
75g all bran
75g oat Bran
100g peanut butter crunchy
Add oat bran, all bran and oats to a large bowl
Add chopped apricots, dates, sultanas and cranberries to the bowl
Add truvia to the bowl and mix well.
To a small pan add peanut butter, butter and honey.
Heat until completely melted.
Pour into the granola mix
Press into a lined baking tray
Bake at 170c for 15-20 minutes.Allow to cool and slice into smaller pieces
