I’ve got a Diwali Sweet making addiction now – so here is my last nights creation! Cashew Ladoo with cashew inside, coated with chocolate and chopped nuts.
I’m not sure how I come up with these ideas, but this was a good one!
Kids and hubster both loved these little rich moorish treats
1/2 Can Condensed Milk
1/2 of cashews ( ground after measuring)
1/4 Tsp Cinnamon powder
1/2 Tsp Ghee
A few roasted salted cashews
100g Dark Chocolate
In a pan add condensed milk, ground cashews, ghee and cinnamon
Stir over medium heat and it will start to get thicker.
Once you can’t stir and becomes dough like, take off the heat.
Allow to cool on a greased worktop for about 8-10 minutes until cool enough so you can handle.
Take a small amount of dough and roll into a ball.
Add 2 pieces of roasted cashews into the middle
Gather around the cashew
Reroll into a ball
All to cool on a greased plate.
Melt dark chocolate and coat the ladoos in chocolate
Sprinkle on some chopped cashews
Allow to cool and set completely.
