Another new completely Tejal creation! I asked by my mum last-minute to popover the next as family was coming for a visit…so what could I make quickly to take over – Yes Flapjacks
50g Raw brown sugar
100g Golden syrup
30g Milled lined seed mix ( see picture below)
Melt butter, sugar, honey and gold syrup in a small pan until all melted.
In a large bowl bring together oats, milled lined seed mix, swiss style muesli, raisins, dried cranberries, mixed chopped nuts, dried apricot and broken pieces of milk chocolate ( I used left over Easter egg shell)
Add the melted sweet butter mixture into the dry items and mix well.
Pour the mixture into a baking tray lined with foil and spray with a little oil.
Press the flapjacks mixture into the baking tray.
Bake in the oven at 180c for 20-25mins or until golden brown.
Allow the flapjacks to cool before cutting into slices.
Cut into desired size pieces using a sharp knife.
