Cherry Brandy Mince pies

7 1/2 oz flour
2 1/2 oz icing sugar
6oz butter
1 orange rind & juice
Cherry Brandy Mince meat


Add flour, cold butter, sugar and orange juiceIMG_5218

Slowly add a little orange juice a little at a time, just enough to form a rough doughIMG_5219

Wrap in cling film and chill in the fridge for at least 30 minutesIMG_5235

Slowly roll out the dough ( shown by my little helpers) and using cutter, cut the bottoms of the piesIMG_5236

Then roll out a little more pastry to roll out the topsIMG_5237

Place into a greased muffin tray, spoon in the mince meat mixture and add the top of the pies back on. Give it a quick milk wash and sprinkle a little brown sugarIMG_5250

Bake in the oven at 200c for 20 minutes until nice and golden. IMG_5251
