The cake is an all in one recipe, put all the ingredients in for the vanilla cake and mix for 2 mins on medium high.
Pour the mixing into a cake tin, i used a 9inx8in adjustable tin, lined with baking paper.
Bake in the oven at 170c for roughly 35-40mins or until it springs back or check with a cake tester, and then allow to cool.
Mix the chocolate cake ingredients, re-grease and line for the chocolate cake and baked at 170c for 35-40mins.
Mix together the butter cream icing/frosting in a mixture until light and fluffy.
Once cooled, spread buttercream and jam and sandwich together.
Dirty ice the cake (Dirty ice means to cover the cake roughly with the buttercream to ensure the fondant icing sticks).
Colour fondant icing, roll and cover the cake
Add all the final decorations - and its ready!
