A new recipe creation..I do love adding different things to my cookies!
135g Stork (Baking margarine)
80g Dark Brown Sugar
80g Light Brown Sugar
100g Plain Flour
1/2 tsp Baking soda
1/2 tsp Vanilla Extract
50g Bran Flakes crushed slightly
50g Dried Apricots
70g Chocolate Buttons broken in half
Cream together Stork and sugars, then add the egg. Then add all remaining ingredients.
Mix together for a further minutes until it’s all combined.
Using a small scoop drop 12 cookies onto a large baking stone or tray.
Bake in the oven at 170c for about 10-11mins
Remove from the baking stone with a flat spatula onto a cooling rack.
Allow to cool slightly and keep baking remaining batter. Using a small scoop you should get roughly 36-40 cookies, but you can make the bigger if desired.
Enjoy will they are still warm with a cup of coffee! Yum! As a bonus – kids love them!
