This quick easy treat is ideal to make with kids. It’s a no bake creation.
ingredients:
125g Smooth Peanut Butter
60g Golden Syrup
40g Light Brown Sugar
60g Granulated Sugar
1 Tsp Vanilla
50g Bran Flakes
50g Corn Flakes
Topping:
60g Smooth Peanut Butter
60g Milk Chocolate
50g Milk Chocolate
50g Dark Chocolate
Sprinkles to Decorate
In a shallow dish cover in foil and spray with a little oil.
In a microwave proof glass bowl add the Peanut butter, golden syrup, light brown sugar and granulated sugar.
Place in a the microwave and cook on high for 1 minute add the vanilla and stir.
Place back in the microwave and cook on high for another 30 seconds or up to a 1 minute until the sugar has melted completely, add the bran flakes and corn flakes.
Pour the mixture into the foil lined dish.
Press into the corners and tightly pack down. Place into the fridge to cool and set.
In a glass microwave proof bowl add the peanut butter and first 60g Milk chocolate
Heat in the microwave for 30 seconds and stir, continue until melted
Spread over the top of the peanut butter cereal mixture.
In the glass bowl again add the remaining 50g milk chocolate and 50g dark chocolate
Heat in the microwave for 30 seconds and stir, continue until melted
Spread over the top of the peanut butter base
Add sprinkles and allow to set completely in the fridge for at least 2 hours
Remove from the fridge and the dish
And cut into 8 pieces
