Lemon Drizzle Iced Tray Bake

4oz Butter
4oz Sugar
6oz Self Rising flour
2 eggs
1 lemon zest and juice

Place all ingredients into a mixer and on medium speed mix for abut 2 mins.

Pour into a baking tin and bake at 170c for approximately 20-25mins or until golden and springs back.

2 tbsp sugar
1 tbsp golden syrup

Put all above into a small pan and stirring continuously bring to boil and allow to condense down a little over simmering heat (2mins).

Pour over the slightly cooled cake slowly allowing to absorb in.

1 lemon juice and zest
icing sugar

Put lemon juice and zest into a small bowl and slowly add icing until you get a consistency of spread ( not too thick or too runny) and then spread over the cake & drizzle.
