Home made pasta

So I know this post is a tad late, but life has taken over lately! I have a back lg of posts to write up and start posting soon – so watch this space! So a few ago I made some home made pasta from scratch. Yes I got a new pasta attachment for  my Kenwood titanium kitchen chef.

So indregients for pasta:

250g flour ( any kind I used plain white)

1 tbsp olive oil

3 eggs ( 2 whole and 1 white )

few drops of water ( if needed)

put all the above into the mixer with dough hook, and mix all until thick dough, knead for another 5 mins. Cover in cling film and set aside for 10 mins.

make small ball type shapes and send down the pasta attachment shoot,  setting at low (1), as the pasta comes thru then slice into small shapes into a bowl.

Keep going until all pasta has been passed thru.

cook pasta in boiling water for about 8-10mins.

cut up some vegetables with some protein ( I used home made fat free paneer) and saute together.

pasta some herbs and passata and a little cheese, toss in the cooked pasta.

imagesprinkle on some cheese and grill for a few mins until cheese melted and serve!!Footer
